About the Project

This project involved the construction of a large new-build nursing and care home in The Naul Village, Co. Dublin - a significant healthcare facility providing residential care for elderly residents.

The development, operated under the Simply brand, comprises a substantial single-storey complex arranged around a central courtyard garden, with a large number of individual resident rooms, communal areas, dining facilities, staff rooms, and ancillary spaces. Healthcare construction of this type demands strict adherence to fire compartmentation regulations, acoustic separation standards between rooms, and infection-control requirements - all of which were reflected in the specification of the drylining works delivered by our team.

Our Contribution

RO Youth Construction was contracted by JDI Projects (UK) to deliver the complete internal drylining package across the entire nursing home building. Our scope covered all partition wall installation, all ceiling works, and all boarding throughout - including specialist moisture-resistant boards in wet areas such as bathrooms and sluice rooms, and acoustic-rated wall builds with resilient bars and mineral wool insulation between resident rooms.

The scale and complexity of this project - a full nursing home from structure to boarded finish - demonstrates RO Youth Construction's capability to deliver large, specification-driven healthcare drylining packages to programme and quality.
